    The Verge recently posted an article regarding Palatir and its usage for tracking immigrants. Having been trained and used this software, I can agree it is quite powerful. It is like a visualized Access database with a pulse.

    I’m a strong proponent of user reviews, as long as they are representative of the services. For instance, I often review Yelp or other sites before visiting a certain restaurant.
