Darin Challacombe, Ph.D., SHRM-CP, is the founder of Challacombe Consulting, bringing over 20 years of experience in instructional design, organizational psychology, and talent development to every engagement. His work spans healthcare information management, compliance training, leadership development, and eLearning — across nonprofit, government, and private sector organizations.

Darin currently serves on the board of the Alliance for Health Information Operations and Standards (AHIOS), where he leads education and psychometric development for the CRIS certification program. He also serves as advocacy chair for the Kansas Health Information Management Association (KHIMA), inclusion and diversity chair for the SHRM Georgia chapter, and as a member of the Institutional Review Board at Fort Hays State University, where he has taught psychology for over 20 years. He was a contributing team member in developing the AHIMA ROI Microcredential.

A nationally recognized voice in instructional design and workforce development, Darin presents regularly at conferences across the country on topics including eLearning design, healthcare workforce training, and applied organizational psychology.

He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Northcentral University and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from Fort Hays State University.
