Darin Challacombe, Ph.D., SHRM-CP, founded Challacombe Consulting in 2018. He is an experienced educator and instructional design expert. Darin has worked in various spaces, including health information, social psychology, intelligence, and technical writing. His vast experience includes work in nonprofit, government, and private business spaces.
Darin currently serves as the education chair of the Alliance for Health Information Operations and Standards (AHIOS), the advocacy chair for the Kansas Health Information Management Association (KHIMA), and the inclusion and diversity chair for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Georgia chapter. He also serves on the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for Fort Hays State University, where he has been teaching for 20 years. He worked on the team to create the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) ROI Microcredential.
For the past four years, Darin has been presenting at various conferences around the country.
Darin earned his Ph.D. in psychology from Northcentral University, and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in psychology from Fort Hays State University.
